Listening, support, information and advice

We offer a toll-free listening and information line to answer any questions about how the judicial and prison systems work, how prison calls and visits work, available resources or any other request regarding the judicialization of their loved one. This service is also offered by email and we accept collect calls to answer any questions inmates may have.

Individual meetings

Individual meetings by appointment are possible with our speaker. They are an opportunity to discuss your reality, to inform you about the available resources and to learn more about our services.

Sharing groups
(open to members)

Led by our speaker, the sharing groups focus on the reality experienced by people accompanying a loved one in a judicial situation. In a climate of trust and respect, everyone has the right to speak in order to be able to discuss their personal reality.

Therapeutic support service in helping relationships
(open to members)

Offered by a therapist, Céline Fantini, this service consists of therapeutic support and caring and empathetic listening to accompany you in the questions and difficulties you are experiencing. This service supports you in the development of skills and tools to better live with your emotions and your stress. Expression workshops
of oneself
(open to members)

Led by an art therapist, these workshops are designed around psycho-educational themes (psychological education) associated with the realities of the judicialization of a loved one for families. The approach aims to improve knowledge, reflection, sharing of experiences, personal development as a basis for maintaining personal and interpersonal balance.

Conférences (ouvertes aux membres et au public) 

The conference evenings are an opportunity to obtain information concerning the prison and judicial environment as well as any other topic that can help people get through the ordeal of legal proceedings.

Coffee chat (open to members and the public)

Our employees welcome you to the Relais Famille offices every Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. without an appointment. Whether you are a member or interested in our organization, come and chat over coffee, tea and cookies. The schedule may change. Remember to check with our coordinator.

Recreational activities (open to members)

Relais Famille offers leisure activities as well as themed parties during various events (Christmas, maple syrup season, etc.)
