GROUPS OF
SHARING

Online meetings every two weeks to break the isolation and share with people who understand.

Relais Famille support groups provide a safe, caring, and non-judgmental space for people affected by the judicial involvement of a loved one. They help break isolation, encourage connection with others facing similar realities, and offer support in an atmosphere of respect and confidentiality.

Facilitated by a qualified professional, the groups promote the expression of emotions, the sharing of experiences, and the collective exploration of strategies to better cope with everyday challenges.

Participants are free to take part at their own pace, according to their needs and personal limits.

The groups address, among other topics:

  • the emotional and family impacts of judicial involvement;

  • feelings of isolation and stigmatization;

  • strategies for taking care of oneself and one’s loved ones;

  • available resources and tools.

Support groups are open to anyone affected by the judicial involvement of a loved one, regardless of the stage of the legal or correctional process.

At Relais Famille, we believe that peer support and attentive listening are essential to getting through these challenges and regaining a sense of stability and belonging.
